So you want to know more about wine tasting.

For many of us - wines are wonderful accompaniments to food, special occasions, good friends and good times. And the wine tasting experts are able to say what wine should be used in each event and with each food.

I remember a meal with a well healed wine expert who selected a different wine for each food course - only to pour a glass from the bottle and send the rest of the wine away. Seemed an awful waste of good wine but I guess the waiter took advantage of the half filled wine bottles.

I guess it depends on whether you simply drink wine, or taste wine? Most of us can manage to drink wine, but it takes practice to be able to
recognize and distinguish a wine’s characteristics.
